I don't know who you're referring to. There's a transphobic leader who says to who, "Most of us want to kill all of you"? To fellow transphobes? To trans people?
At any rate, I've argued with transphobic people on Twitter. I've seen how hateful and delusional some people are. But not all transphobic people are the same. There are factions. There are people who will never have the intellectual capacity to understand why they are wrong about biology and cruel about people. There is another faction who do have the intellectual capacity but the ideologies they've been brainwashed into for so long prevent them from having love and compassion, much less acceptance and openness. Then there's a faction that has the intellectual capacity to understand, isn't necessarily ideological, isn't religious, and they can be persuaded. It might take years, but it's at least possible. It won't be possible if they are lumped in with the first two factions I mentioned. It won't be possible to reach them if they are mischaracterized as being like the first two factions. It will cause them to push back harder. There are studies that support this and there's my own life experience as a former Mormon, who has friends who were Mormon, and friends who were extremists.
