It's going to take decades for Utah to change. The Mormon church actually doesn't think that trans people exist in any scientifically valid way. Their entire doctrine, all of it, rests on the belief that family is nuclear and heterosexual and is the reason why we are here and is the purpose we'll still fulfill in eternity (that is, if we get to the highest level of heaven, which only certain Mormons do). I cannot even imagine how they could find any loophole in their doctrine to accept that God made trans people. Same with gay people and gay marriage. They've boxed themselves into the tightest corner, with their only Get Out of Jail card being this rarely mentioned belief that there are still "unsealed books" that might one day be revealed.

All that said, I am having trouble understanding why your comment is paired with the text I wrote that you highlighted. I can't tell what they have to do with each other.
