You've created a strawman argument. You're arguing against a different piece of writing, not my piece. You're arguing about a different set of cancel culture behaviours than I am, with different people than I am. I agree with much of what you said in the beginning of your comment because I never disputed it to begin with and I made that very clear in my essay.

I am reliant on technology and I have very little control or impact on how products are made. I do have control over who I harass and why. I am not reliant on harassment. I think that conflating complex problems over which we have no direct control with simple problems over which we have direct control is another strawman argument.
